“It is fresh and you can see the hills of Guatemala and experience being in solidarity with a courageous, forgotten and improverished indigenous people.”

“Felipe will call and tell us he’s just roasted a batch of coffee!  How fresh is that?  To know that in a small way, I am making the lives of people I love better, that makes me happy!”

“I am new to the Maya Earth Coffee experience. I’m finishing my second bag of beans and really like the product. The coffee is smooth, dark, and rich without any bitterness. I’ve drank A LOT of coffee in my life and this one rates right up near the top. And you can’t beat the price!”

Lisa Russell

“Two lbs of robust, flavorful, fair trade, shade grown, organic roast, delivered to my door every two weeks at a prices that would embarrass the profit mongers at Starbusks. Eat your heart out Howard Schultze!”

Stephen Reichard, coffee gourmet and one very satified customer of two years

“What do I like about Maya Earth Coffee?

I like the name of the Cooperative. La voz que Clama en el desierto. It exemplifies the spirit of the indigenous Guatemalan people, who despite the harsh odds both politically and economically, still fight and live powerful lives.

Having lived and worked in Guatemala with community members whose livelihood was from coffee, I know how important coffee prices are for the growers. The price of non Fair Trade coffee is just too low for growers to live on.

It is a small way that I can not only remember Guatemala daily, but I know that I am helping the growers. I am much closer to the hands that actually picked these beans.”

” The deeply rich flavor of Maya Earth Coffee has made me a dedicated drinker of this wonderful brew. It’s smell, even when still in the bag, is tantalizing. What is more, this is coffee with the right heart.  Both organically grown and fair trade, I know that Maya Earth Coffe helps the people of Guatemala be self-sustaining. It also contributes to the movemen of pesticide-free farming in Guatemala. This is so important because pesticides have compromised the health and well being of Guatemalans for decades and tragically contributed to an alarming amount of birth defects in young children living in farming regions. Doing the right thing never tasted so good.”

“The flavor and aroma of Moonflower Coffee are exquisite and the price is reasonable. These are reasons enough to purchase your product but I buy it because of these words on the label: Organic and Fair Trade. It would be presumptuous for me to claim that I am making the world a better place by enjoying a cup of your excellent coffee. Sometimes its enough to do no harm.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to support Moonflower Coffee. I wish you every success.”
